Memorial Urns

I’ve felt the deep pain of losing a great dog, and I know how hard it is to say goodbye to a companion who gave you everything. That’s why I offer custom hand-carved birds to honor their memory in a way that’s as unique as they were. We’ll work together on every detail of the carving, and if you’d like, I can encase their ashes inside the piece. I also film the entire process, creating a tribute that tells the story of your dog’s life and the bond you shared.

Giving myself some creative freedom, this line of carvings is designed entirely by me and only sold once completed. I document the process behind every piece, start to finish, with the goal of eventually photographing the finished carving alongside the live bird in the wild.

I craft each bird and waterfowl carving from basswood I personally harvest. Hand-shaped and then painted with acrylics, these pieces are crafted for both beauty and function, perfect as decoys or display art.
